Women’s Rights  By Lisa Echoku

Rights for everyone are important enough. men more than women. The women’s march was a form of women from the United States and their neighbors coming together for a powerful speech. We should not turn our back on women’s rights because this can end up in violence, women were not able to have the same education as men, and everyone should be treated equally.

To begin with, if no one takes a stand to this it can end up to violence. According to the text Women’s March, it states “Women deserve to live full and healthy lives, free of all forms of violence against our bodies.” This means that women want to feel that they are people, not property. For example, if this continues then it can lead on to death. Furthermore, when this happens often people get unpunished.

In addition, were not be able to have the same education as men. According to slideshare.net, it states ” Women were thought not to have the same education as men.” This means that no one thought that a woman was good enough to get an education. For example, a women’s job was to clean the house, cook, and teach the children. In many cases in China back then when a baby girl was born she must be killed so only men would have an education.

Lastly, everyone is human and should be treated equally. According to www.cnbc.com, it states “Men earned 2.4 percent more than women on average, down slightly from last year,” This means that even though it was 2017 and everyone is supposing to be treated the same. For example, even if it’s the same job men still get paid more. To elaborate on this many people believe this is unfair and is

In conclusion, the women’s march was very effective We should not turn our backs on women’s rights because men have an advantage with education, everyone is the same and should be treated the same, violence can lead on if no one takes a stand.
